In order to enter the Black Temple, players must be level 70 and have completed the attunement quest, “The Hand of Gul’dan.” This questline starts with the item “The Cipher of Damnation” obtained from completing the “Hellscream’s Vigil” quest in Shadowmoon Village.
Once inside the Black Temple, players will face a series of formidable bosses, including High Warlord Naj’entus, Supremus, Shade of Akama, and Teron Gorefiend. The final boss encounter is against the infamous Illidan Stormrage, the former Night Elf and leader of the Illidari.
